# Drupal 7 : To be entirely Semantic Web based

This has been documented in some detail on the SitePoint Blog posting by David Peterson titled “Drupal 7 - a living breathing Semantic Web citizen“. The Semantic Web Interest Group and Linking Open Data communities will be assisting the Drupal development community whenever they need it.
This is quite interesting because there have been a number of modules and modifications to Drupal which have “Semanticised” it, including:
- The Drupal RDF Module for version 6
- The ODBC modification to Drupal to run on Virtuoso enabling RDF exposure and manipulation (e.g. Drupal User Data through the RDF Browser) in collaboration with OpenLink Data Spaces.
