# Do you know your Jung Myers-Briggs Typology score?

Uncategorized @ 01 April 2007

Do the test and check it out: https://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

I am an INFJ, which stands for Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging. It means that I am a “Counsellor Idealist”, I share my personality with Gandhi (Spiritual/Political Leader and Idealist), Jane Goodall (primatologist, ethologist and anthropologist), Emile Brontë (novelist and poet) and Mary Baker Eddy (Christian Science founder).

I apparently would be good at: writing, humanities, philosophy, archaeology, religious education, psychology and counselling… which does actually fit into my non-computing interests.

Ever have the feeling that you might be starting on the wrong career path? Thing is though, I think that it is actually good that I am starting computing, because with computing you know that you can apply non-computing things to computing things. For example, I would like to link religion, philosophy and psychology into computing.

I did a little bit more of a search into INFJs, we are the rarest personality. Only 2% of the population is INFJ!

So my Jung Myers-Briggs scores are so:

  • Introverted 67
  • Intuitive 88
  • Feeling 25
  • Judging 33

I love the sound of this characteristic of INFJs, it probably is quite me: “great depth of personality - intricately and deeply woven, mysterious, and highly complex, sometimes puzzling even themselves” — infj.org

So do the test, and put it on your blog (then comment here), or if you don’t have a blog then comment here if you want to let the world know.

  1. daniel Says:

Carl Jung was also an INFJ… very interesting, as I quite like his theories, and also the test for this tests theory is based on Jungian psychology.

    fyi: https://www.INFJ.com
(dunno where you got the idea that Jung had INFJ prefs, but most type experts claim it’s either INTP or INTJ. I’m fond of the notion he had ISTP prefs myself.)
